Discover all our tips and tricks for creating your winning entry here

Craft your Winning Entry to the GWO Safety & Training Awards 2022

There are only 16 days to go before entries close for this year’s awards and more than 70 GWO training providers have already started. So, if you have a winning story to tell, there is still time!.

We want to help you succeed so you can make a great submission and stand the best chance of winning. Dozens of training providers have asked questions already about how best to produce a winning entry and we’re here to help. To begin with, the GWO Safety & Training Awards team have created a special ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ (FAQ) section on our web site.

If you are stuck, or you need some inspiration, or if you have not yet started your entry, here are some great tips to help you craft your winning entry.

Crafting your winning entry

1 – Make yourself a big cup of coffee or your favourite drink before starting. We expect the submission process to take less than 1 hour, but it is always good to be prepared with refreshment and information close at hand.

2 – If you haven’t already, you will need to make an account on the entry platform, Evessio. This will allow you to save, edit, and return to entries before finalising.

3 - Read the question criteria carefully and think about what makes your winning training different. Judges will understand your entry better with the help of photos, videos, and other supporting materials

4 - What do your clients say about you? We have provided a link with a short, online survey for recent course participants in the entry process to help you show this. The results of this survey come directly to GWO.

5 - Check your entry again. Even if you've already submitted it, can it be made even better?

6 - Log back into the system and continue an unfinished entry NOW!

Our judges are looking forward to reviewing your winning entry meeting you in person on October 4th in Copenhagen.

If you have any other questions, we would love to help. Simply send us an email to us and we'll do everything we can to help to comms@globalwindsafety.org.
