For the third edition of the Safety & Training Awards, GWO introduced an entirely new category “Instructor of the Year.” To our delight, the new category has been the most successful campaign in the Awards so far, with over 700 nominations across 80 + different training providers. Moreover, we received nominations for 100 instructors and had nominations from every continent. We were especially impressed by the high participation rates of training providers in the Americas regions.
As for next steps, our judging panel has now received information provided by the instructor and companies. Regional winners will be selected by the judging panel based on their assessments, with shortlisted candidates notified during August. Winners will be announced during the Safety & Training Awards Ceremony on October 9th in the United States.
