Alex is the Head of Sales for Global Wind Service’s Offshore and Service division. In this role, he oversees the commercial development and successful positioning of offshore installations, as well as services within existing onshore and offshore wind farms. Global Wind Service provides full-scope solutions for onshore and offshore installation and servicing of wind turbines, operating from 13 business units on 4 continents in over 40 countries. Previously, Alex served as the Head of Business Development at Maersk Training. During his tenure, he was responsible for Maersk Training’s global wind strategy and to establish Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training centers in emerging markets such as the APAC region, the Middle East, North and South America, through partnerships or consultancy services. Notably, his efforts led to the establishment of new GWO training centers in Taiwan, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the US (MA, NY, NJ, and DE). Alex brings 7 years of experience in the wind industry and over 20 years in business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Copenhagen Business School and resides in Denmark with his wife and children.
