Fire and Safety Australia Pty Ltd’s (FSA) purpose is ‘to forever change safety in the world...one experience at a time’. We believe in hands on ‘memorable’ and practical fire, safety and rescue training with dedicated programmes, facilities and equipment to support the Wind Industry.
The FSA GWO Technical Training Team has worked hard to combine our long history of emergency response and safety training with the GWO training experience to develop and continually improve the GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) modules as well as the Advanced Rescue Training (ART).
FSA has the ability to train in our dedicated training centres in all major cities in Australia as well as providing contextualized onsite training at our client sites nationwide. FSA strives to provide a “real life” environment for learning and our fixed training facility in Wingfield, South Australia boasts a turbine simulator for blade, hub, nacelle, basement and lift rescue; this simulator was the first in Australia and continues to be enhanced and developed to meet the changing needs of the Australian Wind Industry and our clients.
Our team is passionate about what they do – from our sales and bookings through training delivery and post course certification. Our team exists to help our clients keep their teams safe by building the skills and knowledge required to work safely within the Wind Industry. We create a safe and inclusive environment which has the candidates building their knowledge and skills individually and within a team, under the supervision of their instructor.
