The GWO Safety & Training Forum
Reflecting on the Forum
The GWO Safety & Training Forum 2022 brought together GWO's community for a heavyweight programme of inspiration, industry insight, networking and dialogue across a single day. Taking place at our headquarters in Central Copenhagen, the day comprised of workshops, roundtables as well as plenary sessions, with plenty of opportunities to contribute experience and understanding about the hot topics in safety and training in the wind industry.
What to expect
"We have combined this event into a single day with the GWO Safety & Training Awards 2022, to remind our community how important they are to creating a safe working environment in wind and that good instructors are the most important part of that mission."

The GWO Safety & Training Forum features a keynote address from former British Royal Airforce fighter pilot, Mandy Hickson, whose remarkable insights into decision making under pressure will focus on the role instructors have played in her life. The importance of instructors is just one of the themes that will be echoed in the workshop streams running across Forum agenda. Moderated by our expert facilitators and subject matter experts, this commitment to dialogue remains true to GWO’s mission of being by the industry for industry. The finale for the day, the GWO Safety & Training Awards shines a spotlight on the great practice of training teams and practitioners.
